Mega Ran & iLL-Omega Are "GOING TO THE GARDEN" for Ring of Honor & New Japan Pro Wrestling (G1 SuperCard Show 2019)

Let's just go ahead and deem this what it's organically become already: it's unofficially "Official" WrestleMania 35/WWE Monday Night RAW Week here at The Witzard!!! So, to continue the frantic festivities, we have a new track from wrestling aficionado and sharp-tongued Philly-based emcee Mega Ran! "GOING TO THE GARDEN" was commissioned by Ring of Honor (ROH) and produced by frequent Ray Strife collaborator iLL-Omega, whom Ran initially got in touch with through his friend Eric at NERDS Clothing. "It was hard, fast-paced, and unlike anything I'd ever done before. I wanted to flex some chops and rap a little faster than I normally would on it, to fully capture the excitement of the moment," Mega Ran said on his approach to iLL-Omega's beat for "GOING TO THE GARDEN." Mega Ran has previously released, at least, three wrestling-themed/Wrestle Rap albums between 2016-18: Mat Mania: The Album & Mat Mania: The Revenge with producer Lynx Kinetic, and most recently, Mat Mania: Battle Royale.

Mega Ran also, hosts a weekly Mat Mania Podcast along with co-hosts Teek Hall, The Neoecks & Roknowledge featuring regular discussions on "Classic Pro Wrestling History, WWE PPV wrap-ups, special guests, and unreleased songs from Mega Ran." Anchored by the hashtag #GOINGTOTHEGARDEN and and the chant-worthy refrain "We going to The Garden..." Mega Ran delivered a roaring performance of "GOING TO THE GARDEN" at Madison Square Garden this past Saturday, April 6th, prior to WrestleMania 35. Ran was surrounded by his friends and peers including Westside Gunn, Teek Hall, Emilio Sparks from Wrassle Rap, Eric at NERDS Clothing, and more at the NJPW/ROH G1 SuperCard showcase. Mega Ran & iLL-Omega's "GOING TO THE GARDEN" is now available to stream or download on your digital streaming service of choice. Check out Mat Mania Episode #128 to learn all about Mega Ran's Road to G1 SuperCard... and WrestleMania. Mega Ran & MC Lars' long-rumored Kickstarter-funded collaborative album, THE DEWEY DECIBEL SYSTEM drops upon the general public Friday, June 7th.
