Chicago Skath Pioneers Return with Frightfully Festive New Single "Wake The Dead" Just In Time for Halloween (Spooky Action Records)

Chicago-based 666th Wave Ska/Skath band. Grave Danger, have returned with their third festive offering. "Wake The Dead" follows their 2021 single, "Specter Inspector," and 2019 debut, TOMB IT MAY CONCERN EP. Grave Danger told Punk News, who recently premiered "Wake The Dead:" "with "Wake The Dead," we wanted a big, menacing sound, worthy of the Lovecraftian Horror that inspired it, to balance out the fun, bouncy horn parts that we love to write. We had a great time working to get the vibe just right for this monstrous love letter to coffee." Grave Danger is Dave Schwantes providing guitars, bass, keyboards, tenor sax, baritone sax, and backing vocals, drummer Dane Erbach, vocalist Chris Marcanti, trombonist Margaret Miller, trumpet player Andy Miller, and Emily Erbach on theremin/synths.

"Wake The Dead" was produced by Dave Schwantes with album artwork by David Buist (@david_buist) and mixing and mastering by Justin Lebreck at Waysound Studios. While they only come out about once a year on, around, or for Halloween, Grave Danger make it well worth the nearly year-long wait every time. "Wake The Dead" is just another fantastic notch in their slowly, ever-growing discography. So, check it out and if you like ehat you hear, Add Grave Danger's "Wake The Dead," "Specter Inspector," and TOMB IT MAY CONCERN to your frightful, sppok-tacular Skalloween/Skatober playlists. Grave Danger's "Wake The Dead" is out now on Spooky Action Records. Happy Halloween, ghouls and gals!!!
