2Minute Minor Share Spirited Holiday Rendition of "Snoopy's Christmas" Originally Released By The Royal Guardsmen (Snoopy & His Friends)

2Minute Minor (2MM) is a old school-style American Hardcore Punk band heavily influenced by 80's Hardcore and the working class Oi! sound. They typically mix in a message of positivity and unity into their music. 2Minute Minor's members are advocates for human rights and formed the band in Chicago, Illinois. 2MM have released a number of albums, EP's, and singles since their initial formation around 2017. Their most recent release being 8-bit Remixes, which was remixed and orchestrated by now-departed drummer Zach Bridier. Bridier has moved on from 2Minute Minor to create his own music and explore other opportunities, as explained within our comprehensive emailed interview conducted earlier this year. 2Minute Minor has now recruited Larry Passenier as their drummer, who, also, drums in 2MM side-project XRedlineX.

Although, while 8-bit Remixes marked his official send-off/parting gift to the band upon his exit, Bridier has appeared on the two most recent 2MM singles: a cover of the 1985 Madballs commercial theme song and a rendition of The Royal Guardsmen's "Snoopy's Christmas." "Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from our families to yours. Please, enjoy "Snoopy's Christmas," 2Minute Minor wrote within a recent Facebook post. "Snoopy's Christmas" was first released on The Royal Guardsmen's 1967 album, Snoopy & His Friends. It was a novelty song released as the follow-up to their earlier 1966 single, "Snoopy vs. The Red Baron." Both vaguely Christmas-themed Peanuts releases detailing the various exploits of Snoopy as The World War I Flying Ace through Charles Schulz's Peanuts comic strips. 2Minute Minor's version is a bit more feverish and Punked-up, as expected, but tells through the whole story of Snoopy & The Red Baron as origianlly told by The Royal Guardsmen. 2Minute Minor's spirited rendition of "Snoopy's Christmas" is now available on your streaming platform of choice just in time to add it onto your 2021 holiday playlist.
