Body Spray Return with 2 Rippin' New Singles "Still Swollen" & "New Smell" from Music to Fall Down To (St. Body Spray Day Release Show)

Body Spray (@BodySprayStinks) are a South Philly-based Noise Rock/"Hoagie"-core band consisting of frontman Dan Haddigan, bassist Adam Black, drummer Ian Kiesel, and guitarist Eric Kenney. Their Bandcamp page boasts: "We met in a bowling league. We rolled together and then, we Rocked together!" For a Punk/Hardcore-adjacent band, Body Spray are surprisingly active on social media; regularly maintaining and updating their own Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages. Since first seeing Body Spray's set at Pissed Jeans' WHY LOVE NOW? Record Release Show at Boot & Saddle back in March of 2017 with M Ax Noi Mach, I've been frequently corresponding with Adam & Ian, I believe, on the band's Twitter page and through email. Although, I've been listening to Body Spray's phenomenal 2016 Hell EP for, at least, a year or so now, I've known they've had a proper full-length looming ahead for just as long. Said album, phenomenally-named, Music to Fall Down To, has now been fully realized, as Body Spray announced its sheer existence just before The New Year with an "Edgy" new music video. Now, just a couple weeks out from the album's proper March 17th release, Body Spray have let loose 2 new rippers from Music to Fall Down To: Track #04 "Still Swollen" and Track #09 "New Smell" upon the terribly unsuspecting music-loving world.

Just solely based off these 3 pre-release singles, I would preemptively liken Body Spray's Music to Fall Down To to something along the lines of Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Iggy & The Stooges, and fellow Philadelphians Pissed Jeans. Frontman Dan Haddigan possesses a menacing sneer reminiscent of fellow Punk/Hardcore wailers Henry Rollins, Jello Biafra, Matt Korvette, and, of course, The Godfather of Punk himself, Iggy Pop. So, basically, this band is THE SH*T and you should definitely check out their current "catalog"—Hell EP and Peter Frampton-rippin' demo, BODY SPRAY Comes Alive!—on Bandcamp as soon as humanly possible! Body Spray will, actually, be hosting their very own Record Release Show for Music to Fall Down To at Ortlieb's on Sunday, March 17, 2019, otherwise known as St. Patrick's Day or this year, "St. Body Spray Day," with openers Plot & Table and plenty of "green" beer to go 'round. Music to Fall Down To is currently available for pre-order from Body Spray's Bandcamp page in a limited edition 12-inch vinyl package, complete with basketball-themed artwork, in a variety of "Randomly Colored" 150 gram vinyl. It sounds like Body Spray plans to unleash 2 more music videos, at some point, leading up to Music to Fall Down To's wide release...
