Height Keech Shares 8-bit Scott Bryce Taylor-directed "COMPUTER ROCKER" Music Video (Cold Rhymes Records/Nonstop Everything)

Height Keech is arguably, as successful as one one could ever imagine to get as an Underground/Indie Hip-Hop emcee. A figurehead within the Baltimore/East Coast Alt. Hip-Hop scenes since 1999 with now-defunct crew Wounds, Height recently started producing his own and others' music and released four of his own albums last year, as well as a career-spanning "Guest Spots" compilation. In recent years, Height turned his long-standing, loosely-formatted imprint, Cold Rhymes Records into a full-fledged functioning label powerhouse. Just this year alone, Cold Rhymes has issued albums from MISTER, Off The Meat Rack, Height, and the "Ariel Pink of Hip-Hop," Darko The Super, as well as a label-encompassing compilation, three of which were produced by Height Keech himself. Height's most recent album, COMPUTER ROCKER, showcases close friend and touring/label mate MISTER as a "Featured MC" throughout in an almost B-Legit right-hand man-esque capacity to Height's E-40-caliber top-billing. Just yesterday afternoon, prior to embarking on the second leg of his COMPUTER ROCKER TOUR with partners-in-rhyme MISTER, Goldzilla & Eddie Logix, Height Keech surprise-released a proper music video for COMPUTER ROCKER's title track and lead single.

"COMPUTER ROCKER" stars Height as himself and Jackson O'Connell-Barlow AKA Mrs.Paintbrush as computer rockin' "Flayant Ordinateur" in a grainy 8-bit video treatment, vaguely reminiscent of Minecraft. It was shot, edited, directed, effected, and conceptualized by Scott Bryce Taylor for Nonstop Everything (@nonstopeveryall) and produced by Jacob Harver, Height Keech & Nonstop Everything Productions. Both MISTER-assisted COMPUTER ROCKER and Darko The Super's Height-produced STORIES OF A MADE UP YEAR are currently available to stream or download on Cold Rhymes Records' Bandcamp page. Next up on Cold Rhymes' 2018 release schedule is North Carolina Hip-Hop/Folk duo Speak N' Eye's Height-produced Cypher At The Gates of Dawn (CATGOD) dropping Monday, June 18th. For an audiophonic preview of the remainder of Cold Rhymes Records' 2018 release roll-out, ch-check out their label-wide comp. THERE ISN'T VERY MUCH TIME: 14 ICE-COLD DEVASTATORS FROM COLD RHYMES RECORDS. All 14 frigid sub-zero cuts were graciously broken down track-by-track by Height Keech and his ENTIRE Cold Rhymin' crew exclusively for The Witzard.
